Trump tells ABC Musk “lost his head,” as the father of the CEO says “Make sure this strives”

In a telephone interview on Friday morning, hours after his scorching exchange with Elon Musk, President Donald Trump sounded remarkably carefree for his dispute, as if not even the most interesting thing that happened on Thursday.

Speaking on a phone call on Friday morning shortly before 7 am, ABC News asked him about the reports that he had a scheduled call with Musk for later in the day.

“Do you mean the man who has lost his head?” He asked, saying that “he was not particularly” interested in talking to him at this time.

He said Musk wants to talk to him, but he is not ready to talk to Musk.

Trump then spoke for a couple of minutes about other things: referring to inflation (below), foreign investment (UP) and its plans for a visit to China (huge).

People close to Trump have described him as sad than angry with Musk. An advisor who was with Trump on Thursday night said he seemed “discouraged” about rupture. And that is the way it sounded on Friday morning.

Trump is considering giving or selling the Red Tesla that he bought to support Musk, said an official of the administration superior to Rachel Scott of ABC News on Friday morning. The Tesla was parked just at West Executive Avenue on Thursday. Trump made a sample of reviewing Tesla’s models in the White House in March when the Musk company received a success when he arrived in Washington.

Speaking to Al Arabiya from the Delhi airport, Musk’s father, Errol Musk, said he urged his technological billionaire son to finish the dispute.

“I have not talked to him, but I sent him a message, you know, telling him to make sure this strives,” he said before saying to whom he thinks he will leave this victorious battle. “Trump, of course, will prevail, because most people in the United States have voted.”

The old Musk blamed “great stress” for his son’s actions on Thursday.

Thursday’s Word of Words, derived from Musk’s criticism to Trump’s firm tax and immigration bill, if Musk suggested that Trump would have lost the 2024 elections without him, support the calls to Trump’s accusation and even affirm that Trump was “in” Epstein’s archives regarding the investigation into the accused sex dealer.

“That is the real reason why they have not become public. You have a good day, Djt!” Musk posted.

Trump, in turn, had said that Musk had gone “crazy” and suggested to finish the contracts and subsidies of the Musk government.

Vice President JD Vance expressed his support for Trump in the midst of the public dispute in a brief position for X, although hours after the return to the part of Trump and the musk began. The post did not weigh directly in Musk’s attacks or criticized the billionaire of Tesla, with whom Vance has his own story that is prior to his time as Trump’s partner and vice president.

“President Trump has done more than anyone in my life to gain the confidence of the movement he leads. I am proud to be by his side,” Vance wrote on social networks.

Vance had not yet responded directly to Musk’s accusations against Trump when he published again Friday morning.

“There are many lies that corporate media talk about President Trump. One of the most obvious is that it is impulsive or of bad temper. Anyone who has seen it operate under pressure knows that it is ridiculous,” Vance wrote, focusing his fury in the media.

The White House called the public dispute between Trump and Elon Musk “an unfortunate episode of Elon, who does not like the great Big Beautiful bill because it does not include its policies.”

“The president focuses on approving this historical legislation and making our country great again,” said White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, in a statement.

Only a few hours after accusing Trump, without evidence, of appearing in Epstein’s archives, Musk showed some signs of trying to soften his tone, he even seems to agree with an X post that asks the two to “make peace.”

The first sign that Musk was starting to walk back thanks to an account with just over 141 followers in X who suggested “cooling” and “step back.”

The seemingly random user publication led Musk to reverse his threat to dismantle the spacecraft used to transport astronauts and supplies to the International Space Station, a threat that Musk had done only a few hours earlier.

“Good advice,” Musk replied to the user. “Ok, we don’t dismantle Dragon.”
