The states generally draw their map of the Congress once per decade, after the census, but President Donald Trump and the White House had pushed the State again to draw their map to help Republicans reinforce their thin majority in the United States Representatives House in the mid -period elections of 2026.
Experts have said that the new map of Congress could allow Republicans to turn up to five seats; Republicans have said that the new borders of the district were based on political performance and other considerations allowed by law.
Democrats have said that maps unfairly point out and marginalize color voters.
