Student suspect dies after shooting at high school

A student who, according to the authorities, opened fire in his high school in Colorado, wounding two classmates and then turned the weapon, has died, according to the local Sheriff’s office.
The shots in Evergreen High School exploded around 12:24 pm, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office.
Three students were taken to the hospital in critical condition after the shots, including the alleged shooter, which was injured by a self -inflicted gunshot wound, said the Sheriff’s office.
The Sheriff’s office confirmed that the suspect died in a publication on social networks on Wednesday night.
The authorities have not publicly published their identity.

A fourth student was also transported to the hospital, but with an unknown injury, authorities said previously.
In a statement, Colorado Governor Jared Polis said he was “devastated” by the shooting.
“My heart is with the victims and their families while dealing with this act of meaningless violence,” Polis said.
After the shooting, the school was placed in a closure and the officials swept the campus.

“This is the most frightening to think that it could happen,” said Sheriff’s office spokesman Jacki Kelley, at a previous press conference.
Kelley said he could not provide any other detail about the alleged shooter, including the age or genre of the suspect.
“I don’t know if our suspect is greater enough to drive,” Kelley said.
She said the authorities were looking for an order for the student’s house and locker.
The Sheriff’s office said the suspect was armed with a revolver gun.

The alcohol, tobacco office, firearms and explosives also responded to the scene.
The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, said that the FBI was “aware of the tragic situation that develops near Denver”, with officials who provide “total support of local authorities to guarantee everyone’s safety.”

After the shooting, hundreds of police were on the scene looking in each room on the campus, according to the police.
Parents were asked to meet the students in Bergen Meadow Elementary.
