After two days of testimony about how their relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs became violent and coercive, Cassie Ventura faced six hours of exhausting interrogation on Thursday, since defense lawyers tried doubts about their credibility and portrayed it as a participant arranged in their sexual activities.
The defense lawyers resorted to a decade of archived text messages to question Ventura about the consistency of their previous testimony, highlighting its apparent eagerness to participate in the combs lifestyle of Balance to balancing in the orgies fed with drugs. They insist that she was not a victim of sexual trafficking or the exituct and that combs is innocent of the federal positions she faces.
During other parts of the interrogation, the lawyer of combs, Anna Estevao, seemed to use apparently mundane messages, such as planning dates or expressing her romantic feelings with each other, as an opportunity to humanize the combs, which occasionally nodded while her lawyers questioned Ventura.
The combs lawyers have argued that, although they have made mistakes, involved in domestic violence and abused drugs, never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. Sitting next to his lawyers, Comink seemed involved in the interrogation and at one point he pointed out a heart with his hands towards the wife of his main defense lawyer, a former prosecutor whose clients now include the alleged suspect of the CEO of United of Unitedhealthcare, to the suspect of Luigi Mangione, who has entered a plea of non -guilt.
It is expected that Ventura’s testimony as the prosecutor’s star witness concludes tomorrow, given the concerns that the singer, now eight months of pregnancy, could go at labor as soon as this weekend.

Defensor lawyers use text messages to show mutual affection between combs and ventura
Ventura openly recognized his direct and interrogative examinations that loved the combs for more than a decade and hoped to build a life with him. She told the jury that she fell in love with the combs shortly after knowing each other, and the jurors saw messages from the beginning of their relationship.
“We have only had one week together and I can say that it has been the best and the worst,” Ventura wrote in 2007. “I am sad, angry, frustrated and injured that you do not feel that I am correct.”
The jurors also saw messages of August 2009, when the couple was made public for the first time with their relationship and other messages of more than two years in their relationship.
“I love you so much that it consumes my life,” he wrote in April 2010.
Ventura testified that while the messages seemed positive, he began to see a different side of the combs when they spent more time together, one that said it was prone to violence, jealousy and anger.
“The longer I spent with him and I met him, his true personality, or at least what I thought was his true personality, came out,” Ventura testified.
Defensor lawyers press Ventura on the apparent will to participate in promotions
During his direct exam, Ventura acknowledged that he first agreed to participate in a monster to make the combs happy enjoying his sexual fantasy. She said she quickly realized that she did not enjoy drug orgies that could continue for days and included that she had sexual encounters with prostitutes and strangers.
To counteract Ventura’s statement, she was forced to plan and participate in the monsters, the defense lawyers presented a series of messages that apparently showed a different attitude. “I’m always ready to scare,” he wrote in August 2009.
The jury members also saw text messages that suggested that the combs expressed interest in the wishes of Ventura, although they had previously testified that they did not care about the combs. The messages also seem to show that he tried to please the combs preparing for the monsters, even visiting a sex store before an orgy.
“Trying to find something to impress you,” he wrote in a message. At least one of the jurors raised his eyebrows as an explicit message in the court.
The defense lawyers pressed Ventura about their reasons to be reluctant to participate in the monsters, suggesting that it was not frustrated by violence or coercion, but because I wanted more of the relationship.
“When we used to scare ourselves when we were so in love. No questions were asked, he felt good, as if it literally made sense for the next step together in our sexual life. I get nervous that I am becoming the girlfriend with whom you put on your fantasies and that is all. I do not understand the other part,” he wrote in a message to the combs of December 2009.
During his first two days of testimony, Ventura testified extensively on an episode of 2016 when he said he tried to leave a monster but was attacked by Combs, an assault that was captured in surveillance video and shown to the jurors. In the interrogation, Ventura was shown text messages that suggested that he was anxious to participate in the monster, and the violence of the combs could have been influenced by their drug use.
“The drugs that you and Mr. combs took that day were a bad lot of Mdma, right?” Estevao said.
“I have no idea,” Ventura asked.
Defensor lawyers suggest that the relationship was defined by mutual jealousy
The defense lawyers pressed Ventura on the defects in their relationship with combs, arguing that jealousy and infidelity were both ways for the couple.
Ventura admitted that “was some jealousy” of Kim Porter, the late mother of four children of Com Coms, and was upset when combs continued a relationship with another woman.
“Was it disappointing and harmful to discover that you weren’t the main bride?” Estevao asked.
“Yes,” Ventura replied. “It did not belong to each situation, but I was definitely jealous of certain situations in which it was.”
The jurors were shown text messages that showed comb and ventura expressing anger on the infidelity of the other, with combs watching another woman while Ventura was in a relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan. Ventura was asked about his relationship with Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Ramon Mescudi, and who previously testified that he stopped seeing due to tension with combs, and how he said that the Peines “pounced” when he discovered his relationship during a plane.
“Did you feel justified by deceiving him with Mr. Mescudi for the infidelity of Mr. Combs?” Estevao asked.
“I could have done it, I don’t know,” she replied.
