Newsom says California to draw Maps from Congress to “end Trump’s presidency”

The governor of California, Gavin Newsom, said that California will advance with the drawing of new Maps of Congress that said “Trump’s presidency will end” and will allow Democrats to take control of the House of Representatives of the United States.
“Donald ‘Taco’ Trump, as many call it, ‘The deadline !!! California will now draw new and more’ beautiful maps’, they will be historical since they will end with the presidency of Trump (the Democrats withdraw the house!)”. Newsom wrote On Tuesday night, in a written publication in the style of social networks from time to time from President Donald Trump.
The announcement occurs in the midst of the efforts of Texas Republicans to re -draw Maps of Congress in favor of their party. The confrontation of redistribution of districts in Texas has led the blue states to threaten to retaliate, with Newsom proposing to cut five republican seats in California.

The redistribution battle of districts in Texas, and potentially other states, has national implications, with the control of the United States house potentially at stake. The Map of the Congress proposed by the Texas Republican Party could generate Republicans between three and five seats in the middle of the period next year, seats that could make a difference as Republicans work to maintain their small majority in the United States Chamber.
A spokesman for the California State Assembly, Robert Rivas, confirmed to ABC News that the State Legislature aims to publish maps drafts on Friday.
The Newsom publication did not offer any details about the maps or how it plans to approve them, although Newsom has said previously that it would consider trying to have maps on the ballot in a special choice in November.
The governor of California said it would be part of a press conference this week with “powerful” democrats, but did not offer details about who would be present.

Newsom sent a letter to Trump on Monday asking the president to give the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott other Republican governors who leave the efforts to draw new maps of Congress. Texas Democrats have fled the State in protest of the maps.
The Texas representatives could not reach a quorum on Tuesday. The president of Texas’s house, Dustin Burrows, said the house will meet once again on Friday, adding that if there is no quorum by then, Abbott will postpone the current session and call a second special session to start immediately.
