The video shows the moments before Nick Reiner’s arrest after the death of his parents

Newly released videos appear to show the moments leading up to Nick Reiner’s arrest on Sunday in connection with the murder of his parents, renowned Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer.

Nick Reiner, 32, was charged Tuesday with two counts of first degree murder in connection with the deaths, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman.

One of the newly released videos appears to show Nick Reiner, 32, moments before his arrest on December 14 near the University of Southern California. In the video, he wears jeans, a striped jacket, and a baseball cap. He is seen with a red backpack slung over one shoulder as he enters a gas station and buys a drink.

Another video shows him outside walking near a crosswalk as several police vehicles with flashing lights surround him. He can be seen in the video raising his hands.

The bodies of the reiner major were found stabbed to death by their daughter on Sunday in their Brentwood home, sources told ABC News.

Nick Reiner, who had allegedly been living on his parents’ property, was not home when his parents’ bodies were discovered, law enforcement sources previously told ABC News.

Police previously said they located Nick Reiner Sunday night near the University of Southern California thanks to “good, solid police work.”

Nick Reiner had been open about struggling with drug addiction since he was a teenager. In 2016, Nick Reiner worked with his dad in the film “Being Charlie,” which drew heavily on his struggle with drug addiction.

Sources told ABC News that Nick Reiner got into an argument with his father at a party Saturday night and was seen acting strangely.
