Charlie Kirk’s commemorative service prepared for Sunday with Trump, Vance to speak

The commemorative service of conservative activist Charlie Kirk will take place on Sunday, just over a week after his murder sent shock waves through US politics.

President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and several senior administration officials are scheduled to speak at the event, which is held at the State Fariza stadium in Arizona and is expected to attract tens of thousands of mourners.

Kirk was a deadly shot on September 10 in front of a large crowd at the University of Utah Valley, the first “The American Comeback Tour” stop of Kirk that invited students to discuss Hot-Button problems.

President Trump announced Kirk’s death that night, and a human hunt for the gunman occurred. The authorities on September 12 identified Tyler Robinson, 22, as suspicious. Robinson was accused this week of multiple positions, including aggravated murder. Prosecutors said they intend to seek the death penalty.

Kirk, 31, founded Turning Point USA at age 18 and got up to become one of the most prominent conservative voices in the country. His influence, particularly with young people, helped to boost Trump in charge. But some of his comments on armed violence, LGBTQ problems, race and more often caused criticism of liberals and others.

An ally superior to Trump and a close friend of many in the administration, Kirk is killing many inside the White House.

The president said he will posthumously grant Kirk the presidential medal of La Libertad, the highest civil honor of the Nation. Vance escorted Utah’s Kirk coffin to Arizona in the Dos Air Force.

Kirk survives his wife Erika and his two young children. Erika Kirk, who has been chosen to replace her husband as CEO for Turning Point USA, promised “the movement that my husband built will not die.”

“No one will forget my husband’s name, and I will make sure of that,” said Erika Kirk in emotional comments days after his death. She will also talk to Sunday.

Other high -profile figures that are scheduled to deliver comments include Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Chief of Staff of the White House of its Susie Susie and Deputy Chief of Stamp Stamp.

Assistants have been asked to use red, white or blue for the service.

The memorial event has been designated as an event of level 1 of special events (SEAR) Event of Level 1 by the National Security Department, which means that it will have the same security level as the Super Bowl or the Boston marathon.

Local authorities said they would not be surprised if more than 100,000 people meet for the monument.

Kirk’s death was received with the bipartisan conviction of public officials, since the main legislators on both sides alarmed about the growing tide in acts of violence against public officials.

President Trump promised to pursue individuals and groups that claims to contribute to political violence, although he has predominantly blamed the “radical left” as a problem and does not recognize recent attacks against Democrats.

Vice President Vance and several administration officials are asking for punishment for people who say they celebrated Kirk’s death or have mocked him online. Some prominent magician figures have gone so far as to say that Kirk’s death means “war.”

Democrats have retired rhetoric. Senator Chuck Schumer, the Senate’s main democrat, criticized Trump’s “signage” and said he will not help reject the temperature. Critics have called the conservative call for repression against Democrats a threat to freedom of expression.
