Heat wave that broke records that hits wide strip of us: last prognosis

A dangerous heat wave is moving, with more than 100 million people from the west to the northeast alert of potentially mortal temperatures.

Generalized heat alerts are affecting for the first time the west medium states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Dakota del Sur. The heat index, how the temperature feels with moisture, could reach 110 degrees on Friday and Saturday.

The cities of the US center like Denver and Minneapolis could break the heat discs this weekend. In the Chicago area, the heat index could reach 105 degrees from Saturday to Monday.

The south will also feel the heat. It is forecast that the heat index will reach 104 degrees in Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky, Sunday and Tuesday.

The dangerous and record heat will move to the east for the end of the weekend and the beginning of next week. The maximum records of records are possible from Detroit to Raleight, North Carolina, to Boston on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In New York City, the heat index is expected to shoot at 103 degrees, 107 degrees and 105 degrees from Sunday to Tuesday. In Washington, DC, it is forecast that the heat index will jump to 103 degrees, 107 degrees and 108 degrees.

Boston could feel 102 degrees on Tuesday.

Heat indices up to 107 are also possible in cities such as Detroit, Cleveland, Ohio, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia from Sunday to Wednesday.

Doctors recommend taking excessive heat warnings seriously. More than 700 people die from heat -related diseases every year, according to the centers for disease control and prevention, and extreme heat is considered the most fatal danger related to the climate, according to the fifth evaluation of the national climate.
